What we collect
- Reviews and reviewer profile data — name, title, company, market, email — when you submit a review. Email is private; the rest is public on your byline.
- Click data when you click an outbound affiliate link — IP, user agent, referer, country, and a unique subid we generate per click. Used for fraud detection and revenue reconciliation.
- Standard analytics via Google Analytics 4 — anonymized page views, session length, referrers.
- Inquiries if you contact a creator through their store — name, email, optional phone, message. Shared with that creator.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't track you across other websites.
- We don't serve third-party ads on RE Skout.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for session auth, analytics, and affiliate-click attribution. See the cookie policy for the full list.
We send transactional email (sign-in links, password resets, welcome emails for providers we onboard). We may send occasional product update emails to providers, creators, and reviewers — you can unsubscribe from those any time.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold on you: email ashley@reskout.com.
- Ask us to delete your reviewer profile (your reviews can be left up anonymously or removed entirely — your call).
- Ask us to correct any information that's wrong.
