1. What this site is
RE Skout is an independent review and comparison directory for tools and services used by real estate professionals. Reviews are written by independent operators and reflect their personal experience.
2. No advice
Nothing on RE Skout is financial, legal, real estate, or tax advice. Reviews of lenders, brokerages, CRMs, and similar tools are operator opinions, not professional recommendations. Make your own evaluations and consult licensed professionals where required.
3. Affiliate disclosure
We earn referral fees on some outbound links. We disclose this on every page where it applies and never let it affect editorial. Read the full disclosure.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't submit reviews you didn't write or for tools you haven't used.
- Don't scrape the site or its API.
- Don't attempt to manipulate reviews on a product page you're affiliated with.
- Don't submit content that violates law, infringes IP, or defames anyone.
5. User content
When you submit a review, byline, profile, or other content, you grant RE Skout a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, and distribute it on the site and in marketing about the site. You keep ownership; we get the right to show it.
6. Providers
Provider listings exist whether or not the provider has claimed them. Claimed providers get tools (invite link, embed badge, response field) but cannot edit, filter, reorder, or remove individual reviews. Misuse of provider tools (e.g. invite spam) may result in losing access.
7. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is”. We make no warranty about uptime, accuracy, or that the directory is exhaustive. Outbound providers are independent businesses and RE Skout is not responsible for their products, services, terms, or conduct.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, RE Skout's liability for any claim arising out of your use of the site is limited to $100 USD.
9. Changes
We'll update these terms as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date will move when we do.
